The PlanSwift Plug-in combines PlanSwift and ProjectPAK into a powerful estimating duo.  Launch the Plug-in from PlanSwift’s ProjectPAK tab:

The plug-in enables you to browse and pull takeoff items directly from ProjectPAK’s database of library items and product assemblies. This eliminates the time consuming chore of creating and maintaining two takeoff databases – one for PlanSwift and one for ProjectPAK.   

 

Drag and drop the ProjectPAK assembly or library item you wish to take off on to the ‘Takeoff’ area. Fill in required product attributes and then click the digitize button. PlanSwift’s digitizer page is automatically engaged so you can digitize the take off item.

You can set up and manage the takeoff job tree from the plug-in. Any change is automatically replicated back and forth between PlanSwift and the plug-in.

 
Refresh Local Database      

The plug-in allows users to either work directly with their ProjectPAK shared network database, or if they prefer, to work ‘offline’ with a copy of the shared network database. Working with a copy of the database is handy when taking off jobs away from the office.

Send To ProjectPAK      

When the takeoff is finished, the plug-in automatically creates a new ProjectPAK project and estimate including the PlanSwift job tree and all of the takeoff items and their underlying labor and material. Think of the time you’ll save. No need to re-enter items manually. No need to use generic export and import functions.
